Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and begin your scenic drive to Shillong, the charming capital of Meghalaya. En route, stop at Umiam Lake (Barapani), a vast man-made reservoir surrounded by pine forests and rolling hills. Upon reaching Shillong, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, explore Police Bazaar for local shopping and cuisine. Overnight stay in Shillong.
After breakfast, start your local sightseeing tour with Don Bosco Museum showcasing Northeast tribal culture. Continue to Elephant Falls and Ward’s Lake. Later, drive to Laitlum Canyons, offering spectacular panoramic views of deep valleys and mist-covered hills. Return to Shillong by evening for overnight stay.
Proceed to Cherrapunji (Sohra), one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit the majestic Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Dainthlen Falls.
